There's this story that's been around for a while that there will be 10 nations that end up uniting the world. Then somehow the religions of the world get into a peaceful coexistance. There's even a leader. Sounds like a pretty good theory until you throw the word Antichrist in there, then people get a little upset.

- find a software product you like and offer your services
- start your own software project (check balancer, budget maker, car maintenance helper - whatever, just do something that eliminates something very mundane that you do)
- attend a local inventor's conference to inspire ideas
- indentify a local business and walk in to ask them if they would like a customized solution: I had a farmer talk to me once about getting a database together of his cows so he could track them better (feed, growth, price when sold, injuries, sicknesses, etc)
Most tornadoes only last for a few seconds, and under many circumstances, are travelling at a fairly quick rate of speed. Storm chasers have to be aware of hail, lightning, direction of the storm, and the ever vicious RFD winds. The kinds of tornadoes that set themselves up for beautiful, tripod-able storms have their own rarity. The key is mobility - if a chaser takes the time to set up the tripod, that's one more step in the value stream of the chase.
Crysis = "Hey, we got this really neat game engine but we can't afford keeping this in QA to work out all the bugs - hey, let's just wrap a shell of a game around it and market it. People will pay to test our game."
Management = "Brilliant!"
Now that my rant is over, Crysis was the most rediculous release of any game/software I have ever seen. As a software developer, I was embarassed by the amount of bugs and just dumb stuff that should have been caught. And then the first major patch for it wrecked the game again by making the save game files increasingly bigger to the point you're waiting 30-45 minutes for a level to load or something to reset after you died. It got so bad I didn't even finish the game. And then when the guy that lent me the game told me that I was at the last scene of the game, I was astonished. As for resources, considering I was working on a dual core AMD with a 8800GTX - I really wasn't impressed. The game still ran horribly and I had to end up turning the video settings down so that it was playable.
So we already know that they only hold onto these domains for a couple days.
Let's look at this as a legitimate business and equate it to land during the gold rush. Someone lays claim to a bunch of land and takes requests for land while the land is still theirs. The person selling the land may go check it out before they decide to sell it. If it's full of gold, then obviously they keep it.
Step 3. Make profit!!1!1!
To counter and/or test your mass registering scripts/code, you need to also add in the functionality to hit these pages enough times to entice them to register the domains because they've been recognized as massively valuable domains that can generate profit.
Scientists (at least those mentioned on the Science Channel) have theorized because the atmosphere on Venus is so dense, it cannot build up enough of a charge to have a cloud to ground discharge. So all of the renderings of the cloud to ground lightning would be incorrect.
Also, don't forget that when talking about the CO2 in the air, you must remember sulfuric gas coming from the volcanic surface. Nothing like a little sulfuric acid rain to ruin your day!

I, for one, would like to welcome our new FPS overlord - 133tM00nK1LL3r

You forgot the amazing Windows ME.

Shouldn't we put paper bags over our heads and lay down or something?
