It' not because I'm not trying to mess my expensive stuff up that I'm not a geek! Just like hackers have different "hat colors", there are different levels of geekness. I tend to be more geeky with my virtual machines of which I have a snapshot. Not with the physical stuff that I may break, having to buy another one.
Just like having sex: I always use a condom with other forms of contraceptions. Oh WAIT! Maybe you're too geeky to understand this kind of reference...
Yes, my PS3 was powered on on March 1st. It was connected to the PSN also without a glitch. My PS3 is ALWAYS on. If I remember, I played RB2 on that day.
And yes, I updated to the latest FW update yesterday and I have not had a single problem. I own it since april 2007, so 3 years without a single glitch!
Am I the only one who has not had a single issue with my fat PS3? No clock problem, no update / bricking problem, no connectivity problem.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact the I never played around with "install other OS", never opened the hood to replace the hard drive, never tried to jailbreak it...
Still, I think it's sad that Sony is trying to prevent power users to exploit the full potential of this otherwise marvelous piece of technology!
Bah, I'm sure that my name will beat you: Zhiwoumxy Quujosva. Placed all my 7 letters, +70. Placed Z and X on triple letter squares, +60. Completed 2 other words with them, +60. And so on...
Then why don't you buy it? You seem to have a great business plan! But maybe the banks will tell you that they can "only" lend you 75% of the amount... Do you have 25,000,000$ at hand?
I totally agree. And even if someone is crazy enough to pay that much for sex.com, he's gonna have to know how to make money out of it. With allthisfreeporn available on the net, anyone trying to make money out of porn will have more and more difficulties, except with VERY HARDCORE users who will always be willing to pay for higher quality videos, false interactions (sex chat) and all that stuff...
Damn, cannot access Flickr from work... are the pictures hosted elsewhere, on a site categorized in something else than "Social Networking and Personal Sites" by WebSense?:-\
The server seems to be down, any other useful link? Did someone had the time to host the pictures elsewhere before the server went down?

YouTube, Slashdotted? I doubt Slashdot traffic creates a peak significant enough to be noticed on YouTube's traffic charts. Even if there was a link to an HD video in the submitted story.
Who needs a link to go to YouTube?!? I mean, put a link to a wiki article, put a link to a specific news article, but on YouTube...
And anyway, a link to YouTube would only have confirmed that Slashdot is late, because clicking the link to YouTube would have worked, and the headline says it's down!
But hey, when the labor is cheap and can do almost the same as our expensive labor, who cares?!? North American citizens? Mmmmmmmm wait a minute.... nope, the WalMart parking lot is still full....
And not to mention that 40GB is barely enough to have Vista or 7 breathing, once Office installed. Don't ever think about installing Windows 7 SP1 on such a tight space.
Oh, and don't you have those MP3s, Videos, Documents et al of yours?
One must not trust its own product to fall for this kind of poor superstition...

If the moon landing was fake, so are those manual pages!

Leave Scrabble as it is right now! The fun of this game is that it is hard to make words. Please, do not make it easier to play it...
I just hope that tournaments will still implement plain old rules!
In fact, light just shredded me.
But as a councilman or mayor in SimCity, can you play Farmville?

Now will somebody tell them to keep their sh*t for them? Or are we too weak to talk frankly to Chinese authorities?

No, I'm sure the Earth's curve you noticed is just a lens effect...

Hey, it's Slashdot here... by the time the news make it to the main headlines, any website downtime can be resolved.
You mean, histerically? Or like a totalitarian regime? Please be more precise when refering to girls...
But I think it's Google's North American HQ who should have taken preventive measures, like pulling'em out of there!
But hey, when the labor is cheap and can do almost the same as our expensive labor, who cares?!? North American citizens? Mmmmmmmm wait a minute.... nope, the WalMart parking lot is still full....
This war could be really hard. But in the end, it's the Chinese people who lose, not Google nor the Chinese "government".

200GB ought to be enough for anybody.
Ya wrong.
640k ought to be enough for anybody.
