From what I understand, Internet2 is mainly academic. According to my professors (many of whom are working on it)say right now the focus is academic usage.
How to invite people to a meeting can be quite helpful. I interned at a company where I did training classes, you'd be surprised how many people didn't know how to use their e-mail client to book resources and people.
Most of these bulbs are made in China, where the environmental regulations are much less strict. Therefore, they will be polluting the air manufacturing them. That air still makes it over here. Also, these bulbs are filled with Mercury and Lead, and I doubt people will recycle them. Recycling cans is easy, most neighbor hoods have curb side, and still few people do that.
Plus, its another example of being stripped of freedom of choice.
There is a second internet being developed. It is called (cleverly) Internet 2 and is for academic purposes. It is being developed at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
I should have been more clear, I did mean the look and feel. My point was that garcia had bought a MacBook instead of a PC to downgrade to Vista later. So I was wondering why he choose OSX over Vista, they are graphically similar.

Well, I hate to say it, but that is what our Computer Science professors have been telling us.
From what I have heard, and correct me if I am wrong, Vista is based on OSX. How did you avoid problems by picking OSX over Vista?
