I'd like to point out that Sandy Frank, the U.S. producer of some of the Japanese movies (the Gamera movies, Prince of Space, etc. (but not Godzilla)) was so pissed off that he would never allow the shows with these movies to be licensed for release. Don't look for them anytime soon. However, Sandy Frank was born in the late 1920's so it's remotely possible that after he dies his estate may license those movies, provided an equitable sum can be arrange. Who knows?
I'm not Joel, but I can tell you they got some flack from people for using the word "dickweed". Also, an early telephone call to the guys complained about the folks who kept talking over the movie and that it sounded like a bunch of jr. high school kids.
