E, with its eyecandy themes and less useful funcationality is the real desktop for users. It might attract people to Linux/X, but once they've tried it they'll switch to a WM that lets them concentrate on what they need to do. E is lame.
Check again Professor Spelling Bee. I didn't spell ignorance, or any other word, wrong. Oh wait, I guess you're probably going by the hillbilly dictionary. Maybe it's time to put yourself out of my misery.
Look at what has happened before!

I've lived in a NASA suttle fuel tank for the last three years. Let me tell you, it's pretty darn cozy. Except for the explosions every time I light my cigarette.
Last, as in not disintegrate into metal shards or last as in not run out of fuel. The gas tank of my '64 Ford falcon lasted about 150 miles, but it's been empty for years and it's still a great home to mice.

X sucks, but it is full screen

X is full screen, in case you haven't tried it. If you'd like each window to be full screen, well then maximize them. I'd have to say though, I think this is a pretty lame complaint.
First, I'll bet mine's bigger than yours by a long shot. Second, while there's certainly ego involved here, remember that Linux is named after Linux, while GNU stands for, "GNU's Not Unix."
At least RMS wasn't egotistical enough to name the movement after himself.
You don't need all that much money to have a system that blows the most powerful NT system out of the water. Just look at what BSD does on a daily basis for ftp.cdrom.com and compare that to what NT can do. NT isn't ready for the internet.
ILU is a way of specifiying language neutral interfaces between code written in different languages. It is not an object model, but it could be used to implement one, or at least specify one.
Ok, I can see your confusion. SWIG was in the title of my message so you thought I was referring to it. I wasn't. I was not claiming SWIG had any ability whatsoever. I have never even used SWIG.
You've got to chill brother, I haven't seen anybody get so upset about someone giving them something for free since my mother got handed a condom in a shopping mall.

At least the parts I haven't eaten yet
They were fine for me, but I had a T1
What the hell's wrong with xemacs?

Hows about I just walk into your office with a new laptop with a "fred" user account on it and login to your machine.
Uh, you'd have to know fred's password. It's no less secure than having two 'fred' accounts on two different Unix boxes.

One thing's for sure, if Monsanto is involved
they won't be loosing sleep over weather or not
this is a good thing to do, genetically speaking.
This is one company that I like to see wiped off
the face of the earth sooner than Microsoft.
