  1. > Not to mention - that federal law may not apply to the president - but the constitution does, and his particular conflicts almost certainly violate the emoluments clause.

That claim is pretty thin bordering on laughable.

  2. It's acceptable anywhere.

What you are whining about is putting people out. The problem is that EVERYONE is put out by getting a proper ID. It's just that most of us already do it for our JOBS. So using it for voting is redundant.

While the clear intent of voter ID laws is clearly racist voter suppression, it really only discourages the "can't be bothered" crowd. The answer is not to whine about how things are unfair but to tell people to get off their lazy asses.

  3. Bullshit. It was the communist party. They stole from everyone, including the Jews. Jews had NOTHING to do with it. Your grandparents are just raging bigots.

  4. Yeah... because Hitler was nothing more than someone that said mean things.

Just because other liberal morons are jumping on the pile doesn't make it any more legitimate. If anyone is engaging in the fascist tactics, it's those that try to portray dissent as hate crime.

THIS is why absolute free speech is a must.

Attempts to "be nice" will quickly devolve into blatant censorship of facts and views that "the party" doesn't approve of.

  5. We are a Union of States. She lost the states. That's just the way this cookie crumble. You can't just pander to California and New York. You can't ignore and abuse major parts of the electorate.

How sad is that? A state full of people that Trump allegedly ravaged.

So finally the liberals decided that media consolidation is a bad thing. It's like suddenly how the Electoral College is a bad thing. It only becomes a bad thing when it generates a result that you don't approve of. This is blatant flaming hypocrisy.

While they are at it they can stop the megacorp acquisitions in other areas. This includes pharmaceuticals where this practice causes monopolies on drugs whose patents have long expired (think Skrelli). Telecom, Banks, and Insurance companies are also nasty examples of this.

  7. I'm not sure if it's the "fascists" or the "communists" that are more willing to use the corporate label as an excuse to ignore an ideal. The Bill of Rights expresses not just limitations on the federal government but also an ideal that a lot of people clearly don't believe in.

That's probably why the founding states insisted on their inclusion.

Even on election night, the less deluded parts of the liberal media started to put it together. Hillary is simply no Obama. She's also no Bill. Her party connections and entitled attitude weren't enough.

Trump performed like Romney (or a little better). Hillary did not perform like Obama.

Hillary simply is no Obama. That's all there is to it.

Don't kid yourself. This is exactly what they thought it would lead to and they actually had no problems with it. It's the current crop of liberal snowflakes that think the world needs to be censored.

If Germany is now a mirror of the US, then you're talking bullshit. You don't need to defend a government like that from "hate" speech.

The line between speech and actual crimes is a very big one. Conflating the two allows for precisely the kind of suppression of dissent that the Nazis were capable of achieving with thugs.

The problem with Germany wasn't "some guy that said mean things", it was piss poor checks and balances. The Weimar constitution was a piece of crap.

Who was responsible for that shit anyways?

The Constitution is an enumeration of the powers of the federal government.

The Bill of Rights include a limited enumerated of rights not to be infringed. It's a sort of Top of the Pops. Freedom of speech and religion are right up there at the front. The right of free speech has no exceptions for harassment.

Tolerating "hate" is liberty. Clearly freedom is too much for some people.

Of course as the other poster implied. Once you reinstate heresy laws you have the problem that useful dissent might be suppressed. The long history of Democrats accusing Republicans of being fascists or Nazis is a great example.

Democracy is far too important to trust that censors will always remain benevolent.

Meanwhile, the socialists are still alive and holding his feet to the fire.

    Apple prices do not.

All you have to do is make the comparison half way in the middle of the Apple refresh cycle. Even if Apple had parity at the beginning, it will be gauranteed to be at a disadvantage later.

Vicious cutthroat competition has it's benefits.

Beyond that there is also the greater diversity in the PC market. You might not want the 3 variations Apple is wiling to give you. You may not need a novelty form factor that cooks itself. I may be satisfied with an inherently cheaper form factor. You may be willing to use a machine that represents different tradeoffs.

ALL of those give the advantage to PCs.

It's the end user's requirements that matter, not what Apple wants to shove down your throat.
