Phil Robertson is not headed down that path. He tried to destroy no one. It's the groups that tried to destroy him, and society in large that is headed down that path.
I'm pissed at the special interest groups that tried to destroy him for having the temerity to disagree. It's OK to criticize GLAAD, you know. It doesn't make you a homophobe or a bigot.
The problem with models and predictions is that eventually you get to compare them to real world observations. They become accurate or inaccurate based on reality. If you want to enact social and economic change, you make sure your models predict catastrophe. You gobble up any funding provided to you, and use it to predict more catastrophe with more certainty. The problem is that reality will eventually intrude, and the game will be over.
No, they need to teach it more. That is the most commonly misunderstood portion of the constitution, and I suspect that if the constitution is taught at all it is the most commonly mistaught clause. We would have been much better off as a country if it had been zero fifths, short of full citizenship and abolition of course..
Yes, and the way to deal with racism is with more racism, fascism with more fascism, security with more security. Activists always become what they are trying to stamp out. We need to move beyond the activist society.
I'll disagree. I'm not going to participate in the "everbody does it" cop out. A lot of this started with Obama. People seem to be acting like the NSA is operating without any direction or oversight from the White house. There is only one person to blame in this entire situation. It's about time we start doing it, if we want it to stop.
Hmm. Did you feel the same way in 2005 when we had mass protests in DC against the NSA monitoring phone calls to Pakistan? Or does a different President make a world of difference?
True. I'm so proud of the fact that Lois Lerner was able to plead the fifth and then retire with full pension benefits for life. That'll show her and anyone else.
I don't think the TSA is allowed to carry firearms, yet. They only get to grope and detain you against your will at this point.
That's what someone who supports an all powerful state would say.
Then why are you linking to a political organization?
Or repressed, whatever.
Tell that to Phil Robertson. Just because you may disagree with the oppressed does not mean he is not being oppressed.
In Fascism, corporations are the willing bitches of the State. Everything is of the State.
Both. Although, the economic component is not as applicable in this case.

...the experimental data before or after it was "adjusted"?
They don't need the authority. They just do it and don't tell anybody.
The Gestapo and STASI only wished they had the ability to do what the NSA does.
...and recognize this for what it is. Fascism.
Most wealthy people became wealthy by being the ones that built civilization, you brainwashed idiot.
I never thought of it that way. Thanks for opening my eyes. I think this guy says some interesting stuff, too. You might like him.

So predictable. Of all religious texts, why did you pick the bible?

Whatever you have to tell yourself, buddy. I noticed you stopped trying to provide evidence and now are attacking sources.
What part of "They weren't denied, they just weren't approved." do you not understand?

I don't know really know what you're talking about but you've been lead to believe this scandal is entirely different than what it actually is.
