On the other hand, it's unlikely for blackface to be offensive to children. Not knowing what it means can still make it innocently entertaining. Of course there will be quite an awkward moment at some point int he future when they realize.
I know for sure that my teacher didn't explain anything to me with regards to racism when reading Tom Sawyer - and I read the unedited version. It wasn't until a later year that I actually found out what the world back then was really like. At the time, I just thought it was words that we don't use anymore and that the words were only changed to make it easier to understand.
Perhaps they're saying that the horribly mutated butterflies were already out there and are somehow better able to survive in the radiation. That's the only reasonable understanding I can make of it. Not that it's reasonable in the sense of making sense.
Assuming the hard drive write speed can keep up. If you have to use a huge RAID array just to keep up as a cache, then you're looking at a silly situation.
For printing, divide by four. When they say 300 dpi, I'm pretty sure that's 300 dots of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black combined (or an effective 75dpi of complete pixels). 200+dpi on Apple's retina screen doesn't count subpixels.
That being said, the image might be no better than 50x50 pixels, even if there's many times more coated posts in the image than this. Might explain why it's so blurry.
Considering that this whole photo is printed at a size of about a 1/4 of the size of a printed period at 12 pt, we could probably forgive that. It's probably an artifact of magnification - and that this is so close to the limit that the colors start to blur together because it's too close to the size of the wavelength of the colors that are printed.
Do you really think their problem with security is a lack of trying or even a lack of success? It's a big game of leapfrog. Computers now are expect to handle attacks that weren't even physically possible on the hardware of yesterday. It results in more bloat and slower operation. If you were able to design an OS from the ground up today, and assume that there would be no malicious users or malicious attacks, then you'd create a system that runs circles around Windows. We don't have a perfect world, and there must be compromises.
We're talking about an OS that's now at a point of trying to cryptographically sign binaries all the way down to the bootloader. Is it really MS's fault that this level of ridiculousness is necessary?
It's obvious I'm replying to a troll, but I haven't seen a blue screen that was caused by anything but failing hardware in almost a decade. Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X, have all been steadily improving. Some with more security-related bloat, and others with more eye candy. All continue to perform more poorly due to security-related bloat.
I don't know, I think there's other interpretations of that same wording that would mean what you want it to mean. You know, like feces of epic proportions.
They actually made this their argument in court. I was shocked that I only found out last week. You'd think it would be bigger news, but....who would have reported it?
Save yourself some time, and just hit Win key (or CTRL+Esc), and type a few letters of the program's name and hit Enter. Use "All programs" when you forget the program's name. Windows 8 supports that same search shortcut in an entirely different UI, but that will at least make it bearable.
And quite a bizarre interpretation of it, too. I guess they don't want to accidentally violate the rule. About as weird as the idea that Sabbath means not operating an elevator, but it's OK to have someone else do it.
People believe what they see on the "news." Fox News has the legal right to lie. I know the public should have more skepticism of the press, but it isn't wrong to expect journalistic integrity. I think the law should be revised to make someone very afraid of reporting anything that isn't true.
Obama would have gained some serious points for praising that. If a candidate praised the oppositions ideas it may seem like an endorsement to some. To me, it would seem like they're more concerned with good ideas than looking good.
Such is the fate of politics. Screw informed debate. Let's just get some passionate fanatic people to follow us wherever. It's much easier that way. I wish republican/democrat debate within house/senate bill votes and the presidency were based on actual thinking and not just pushing an ideology that one has become a fanatic of.
It's not popular to try. You really have to blame the voters for this. The political candidates almost HAVE to act this way to even have a chance of getting elected.
I wouldn't say it's because he's black. His middle name is Hussein. The belief, no matter how unfounded, was that he was somehow trying to subvert the presidency toward muslim principles.

That was before the nozzles shrunk again. Newer printers have smaller nozzles than ever. Every printer is a "photo" printer.

Yes, smaller details resolved - not color. That would still not break the barrier on the smallest color printing possible.
I'm pretty sure this is already small enough to make an HDTV at a similar body-to-screen-size ratio for ants.

Am I the only one that has trouble associating gams with legs? I always think dentures when I hear it. I have no idea why.
Would you rather see Microsoft Songsmith on actual retail shelves, and being used to make actual towel advertisements?

Especially funny since there's not even a "c" in the Hawaiian alphabet.
I'm assuming because his article wasn't all that detailed or informative before he became a VP nominee. Not sure the right way to fill that out.
Your HOSTS file is pathetic. You must cower in the shadow of MyCleanPC. Teehee.

Whoa, lay off the curly quotes.
My highest has been $40 so far. I won't see that $150 again until I move away.
