Yup indeed. Its just like Age of Conan. The ESRB didnt want to give it an M rating because of topless females.. however in the game you can decapitate people and shove your sword through their skulls... etc. Dismemberment.. gore galore.. blood spray. But taht was all ok.. it was the females "nipples" that were apparently the huge offensive item.

Great read on your post here jollyreaper. That is exactly how I see the state of things currently facing our economy as well. I have worked now for 12 years in the IT field. The current job I have is the only one that I can see myself staying at for 10 years; because its not going under. What is it exactly? A casino IT job. Gambling is a vice and its also an addiction. The casino's who expand and pull in more traffic arent going anywhere. Its sad to see the state of business across America, and I am gripping onto whatever I can today to try and stay afloat when the plunge comes.
I cannot agree more completely. The 1,000 end users at my company will always need help with the simplest tasks on a PC. Unless companies start testing employees on computer usage before hiring them; there will always be a need for an IT department at a large company. A good example is one of the users who has called me 3 times in the past 2 weeks stating that her printer was not working; when all it needed was more paper. Retaining what you tell them will not always be reliable.
And that is exactly why its important to note.. that if her stance actually has any notion of changing game "content" to censor it from children.. that will put me completely against any chance Hilary had for a vote from me. Censoring content to children is a Parents responsibility. I understand that parenting has gone downhill overall across america, but thats not a reason for the government to "DO" the parents job.. it should be incentive for the government to come up with a way to help parents be better. Yes there is always a way. Bring on the parent certificates. Yes I am an extremist when it comes to bad parenting.
Definately possible. The game Matrix Online was a massive urban sprawl and it worked just fine on computer hardware that is now (2 years old). I really am hoping that an MMO based on the Shadowrun world is created. If they do it right.. and base it on twitch combat (similar to Tabula Rasa).. it could be a huge seller. Just has to offer something original.. and that would be the game history and stories. I remember playing the PNP of Shadowrun long ago, and it was always a blast. So much versatility.. and you could choose to be a modern punk.. or an aged troll. I see alot of potential if they approach this with the player in mind (instead of corp green).
