  1. Fox the pimp on Fox News / EA Spar Over Mass Effect 'Controversy' · · Score: 1

What a pile of crap. I heard about that rogue journalist's (Cooper) fabricated slander against Mass Effect, and I wanted to archive the video footage so I went onto the Fox website. After entering "Mass Effect" in their search, along the side of the results, an advertisement caught my eye. It was an add for "mate1 intimate dating", picturing a scantily-clad (geez, I sound like Cooper) woman, and stated that I can "Meet sexy girls in North Vermilion" (here's the URL: http://crtv.mate1.com/ad/670/348649/11458/). I wonder if Cooper is listed? Now, it's not like my impression of Fox News was that great to begin with, but how can this "news" organization continue spewing out this slanderous dribble? I know if someone mispresented Fox News, they'd be the first to sue. Well, at least there's a single place I can always go to for lies, christian fundamentalism, smut, and easy women (who said anything about news?). Thank you Fox/Murdoc for your syphilitic view on life, all you need to do is sell liquor to minors and the gates of heaven will open up for you.

  2. How does Intel sleep at night? on Negroponte vs Intel · · Score: 1, Informative

This is disgusting. In this day and age where corporate responsibility is a prominent issue, how can Intel go and try to sabotage a charitable organization? Is the Red Cross or Unicef next cause they may have AMD chips in their computers? Do they think they can capitalize on 3rd-world children? Will the dollar difference between the OLPC and Intel version be negligible to those people? What hot-shot marketing guru thought this gem up, was it Scrooge McDuck?

I would like to see Intel publicly humiliated for this. Personally, this changes my decision to use Intel in my next computer. *sigh*... Why does the devil have to make chips?

  3. Bah on Canadian DMCA Bill Withdrawn · · Score: 0

I'm glad public outcry has delayed this bill, but it will most likely be buried deep to be resurrected when no one is looking (potent dark magic, indeed). Our laws regarding this matter are sound, we shouldn't have to listen to pressure from foreign business entities. We seperated from Britian, and now the nation of Universal Music Group (or who ever) has us by our balls? And apparently for nothing, as some music corps (namely Universal) have admitted to handling this whole online distribution in a heavy-handed manner. I'm willing to forgive the corps for terrorizing and sueing our asses off, just abit more gruel please...

  4. Benevolent dictators, thank you... on Ogg Vorbis / Theora Language Removed From HTML5 Spec · · Score: 0, Flamebait

Why should a cellphone company, and a company that represents only 15% (is that a safe number?) of the PC market dictate what's best for the other 85%? Heil Jobs and Kallasvuo.
