    It is taking advantage of a poor GPS antenna design. IF the GPS antenna was shielded from ground signals (it would also create a smaller circle of sky to see, but that is not a problem with the number of birds up there) this spoof would have failed unless they were in an aircraft above the yacht.

    Yes it does. Like I said, been using it for decades. When you ship to adjacent states or cities like Netflix already does (they have shipping centers all over the place) it arrives in 1-2 days.

    If they cant get as robust as SDLT then video professionals will not care.

    WE already spool to SDLT for archival. It's robust enough to not worry about data degradation for long term storage. Plus it's already past that mark. SDLT600 is highly common in professional video and film studios for archiving.

    And it's been around for well over 60 years. I can point at homes built in the 1950's that have this.

    You dont see it today because Contractors are pretty dim bulbs and are building to maximize profit and not to build a good building.
