But it seems like if your vehement argument for superiority boils down to "my partisan biased news show is somewhat more likely to apologize for its excesses when it gets caught than yours", you might want to be a little less proud of that.
I never said anything Pro MSNBC or any other station. I just pointed out my agreement with the idea that FOX News does not apologize for it misleading or false statements.
With exceptions (like New York), Unions protect teachers but leave in ways to remove poorly performing teachers. It just requires that the Principal go through steps to try and help the teacher succeed before removing them (or at least give them an opportunity to “shape up” before they “ship out”).
I like the concept. But $2 per show is too much imo. I don't want to end up paying $48 for a 24 episode season without even a DVD to show for my purchase.
I'm not sure where I fall on the issue personally. I do recognize that all of the media industries are holding onto dieing business models. But at the same time, I do respect that content producers do/should have rights to their content and be able to control who sees it and how.
Renting a physical device you hook up at home is similar, but slightly different then renting the use of someones box they set up at their place of business.
You can rent a VCR and record OTA broadcasts. You cannot pay a company to use their VCR to record a ORA broadcast for you.
The ARTISTS have been the only ones saying that piracy DOESNT hurt them.
Of course, because artist often dont own the copyright. They sold it for the record contract.
So since they (the artists) have already been paid - it doesn't hurt them. But it does hurt the group they they (the artists) sold it too.
haha... Guess I need to learn to read a little closer :-)
What do you disagree with? A or B or Both?
A) Nor is it the fault of the teachers. Teachers cannot be held responsible to teach what isn't in the standards.
B) A reason why National Standards would be beneficial.
If A - Do you feel teachers should be held responsible for standards they are not required to teach?
If B - Do you feel that common standards from state to state would be a negative thing for teachers/students?

This needs repeating:
That's because Fox News doesn't apologize

Make congress communication all recorded and open to public record.
I could see this being kind of cool for "self service" at a bar. However, at home it seems rather lame. Too many steps between me and my beer.
I'd rather watch a few commercials then pay $508 a year for the service. (The estimated price without ad. revenue.)
Darn.. I only have 7 Boxxies....
2 to 3 Ads per half hour show don't really bother me too much. Especially when they are mainly 30 seconds with the occational 1 min. long Ad.

What about the less direct effects of people playing on a Microsoft XBOX and having a more favorable view of Microsoft as a brand?
Oblig.

Well, you do need a few holes in the head for breathing and eating and such.

copying without permission?
If you have to ask permission to copy something, there's a problem with the laws that exist.
Creating an uncertainty of "can I copy something?" is what burdens entire societies and creates unnecessary costs. see: united states.
So are you saying everything should be freely copied?
I am still a supporter of the original design of the Senate - to give States equal representation in the Government.
Making both the House and the Senate proportion by population diminishes power of smaller states and gives too much to larger states.
Either way it is a saying now and has been for some time.
I don't think " 'begs the question' " means what you think it means anymore.
Why do you want the Senate to become the House of Reps. instead of representing the States interests?
Knowing how many people have to use tennis balls to not hit their house, you're probably right.
I've wondered too. I end up thinking that maybe there afraid of being hit from behind and pushed into the intersection?
