Will Android support all the 2D/3D graphics/video decoding functions supported by the Qualcomm chips in the HTC phones?
I currently have an AT&T HTC Tilt and it is mediocre at best, with unbelievably buggy software and complete lack of graphics acceleration support. Any future HTC phone is going to have to be AMAZING and nearly perfect to buy HTC again.
Upon reflection I perhaps should have said "fixed identity."
The comment was a quip about how so many humans readily believe in their self-existence as truly independent entities in this universe, and how this technology would simply reinforce their delusions. Your example of an old school paper is a quite harmless one; there are many other types of foolish memories a person might willingly record and replay over and over again in order to re-experience them or force upon others. Furthermore, no doubt the technology would allow for very powerful editing, thus making the temptation for self deception even greater.
This technology in the hands of wise individuals produces no concern of course, however, the irony is that such individuals are the least likely to have any use for it.
This guy has local government property by the balls, so I can't imagine that anyone is going to raise the bail issue in his defense or at least get very far with it.
Certainly you should consider fearing Godel, no? As you shall never know if your light and salvation is consistent and complete. Unless of course, that fact in and of itself is your light and salvation as it were.
So did they hate it or were they just neutral about it? Just-a-job mentality? I'm interested in reading more about what you have to say on that subject.
This issue is the giant elephant in the room that most seem comfortable pretending is not there, as if by some kind of virtue of participating in the scientific method and being 'objective' that social genetics and pressures are rendered neutral.
Have you considered that you are an exception that proves the norm? Thus, being a "needle in the haystack" of sorts that surpassed all barriers of entry, how can you realistically suggest using a blunt instrument like quotas to obtain results that are precise, to say the least.
Quotas might get you in the door, but after that it reads like it's your personal qualities, intangibles you might say, that took you the rest of the way. Quotas seem incapable of magically instilling similar character traits in females who don't posses them already.
Out of curiosity, could you go into more detail about these genius females you encounter in your field? What are their physical and personality characteristics and what field are they working in? What work have they produced that were impressive enough for you to label them as 'genius'?
I agree such skilled females are rare, so rare that I am always interested in hearing about it from anyone who claims to have known or observed some.
The question a human being needs to ask is whether the glory and rewards of competing fairly in a sport is worth the special treatment as a caged animal. You could argue that even now professional athletes are not owners of themselves and their image, but this would seal the deal wouldn't it?

Technology reinforcing the illusion of identity.
Sir I read your post and your discussion of the unpopular politically incorrect realities of the spirited male mind is not lost or wasted on me.
the 'intellectual equality' between the sexes?
Answer: Because genius is and has been the domain of the trailblazing spirited male mind, and many people just 'can't stand it.'

Yes. Perhaps I should have been more specific, I refer Godel's incompleteness theorems.

towards legislating Western Civilization into mediocrity proceeds relatively unhindered it seems.
