Anything that takes power away from those "professional losers" and "NEETs" should be a good thing.
I had it up to here with anime like Genshiken, every poorly-plotted moe anime, and every anime that plays at 1:00am and afterwards only to frustrate normal viewers. The crap that Japan makes; the West (especially the US) had became its dumping grounds for all that crap.
And it's understandable that the anime industry want their money back. But I ain't shelling out my hard-earned money on their crap anymore.
