I don't plan on getting a satellite dish for a while, but Futurama is funny, so is Family Guy. I don't need to say that The Simpsons is the best, thats a given.
This in response to rasters letter and everyone on here that think about him. First of all, raster left Red Hat as a matter of principle. He left because some Red Hat employees above raster actually made fun of Enlightenment users in general, and directly made fun of a channel with Enlightenment users calling us a "festering crowd". The fact that he left Red Hat because he cares about his users more than his employers shows so much more integrity than alot of people out there. There are people at Red Hat that got hired thinking it was going to be great working for them. But quickly found out like raster that the powers that be wanted to assimilate all code to be Gnome compliant. I think that raster is the man, I think Enlightenment is the best window manager out there and isn't afraid to be different. I've talked to raster personally, he is a great guy, he cares about his users so much that I applaud his choices. I mean, you all can stay back in FVWM-95 or twm all you want, I didn't switch from Windows to Linux to use the same looking GUI, I came for difference, that included the window enviroment. Next, about the people that think Enlightenment is some kind of pretty game, it's not. This window manager represents what Linux is about. Linux was meant as an alternative to commercial software. It is meant to be underground from corporate America. For Linux to be all "GNOME-compliant" is just reverting back to the Windows mindset to assimilate the graphical user enviroment back to all of the same thing. Enlightenment is a big step in the right direction. Linux is about change, Enlightenment is about change, Linux is Enlightenment.
They made the Celeron's, that more than likely hurt competitors and if they can make them cheaper and have less overhead costs, then it's fine if they sell cheaper because they can.
I'm putting my money down that Intel will drop their prices on their processors just so that the new company can't sell theirs because Intel can stand to loose money by edgeing out a competitor, they will, including one that will use the same processor interface and will match their speed.
Yeah, now instead of glass and metal shattering about 2 feet away from the crash scene on the ground, we can have sky way's that have traffic above the city and suburbs so then when accidents happen on the sky way, it'll not only rain glass shards and hot metal pieces but the two wrecks will fall to the earth and no one can do anything about it because no one will have advance knowledge of wrecks of course. So we have glass and metal raining down at a geometric rate depending on the height of the cars and windspeed, and then we have thousands of pounds of metal hitting the earth with the possibility of explosions.
They should make the car look like a DeLorean, with the doors that swing up and the tires move from the bottom sides of the car to come in the car on the underside. Plus, we can even include Mr. Fusion, the time circuits and the flux capacitor.
Yeah, I think the higher end Tyan boards have power adjustments. I upgraded my BIOS from 1.12 to 1.16b, so either the BIOS came with that feature or the upgrade did. The BIOS upgrade is free and easy, so at any rate, if you get the board, you'll get the choice.
My motherboard, a Tyan S1836DLUAN-GX has a BIOS setting to switch the function of the power supply like discussed in other messages. Just thought I'd like to use my freedom of speech.
This is what happens when there's too much demand and not enough supply. I heard about prequels to Star Wars like 8 years ago, all that hype building up, it's bound to break somewhere. I think it was posted on here that some Star Trek fans got mad after unfavorable attention Star Trek was getting so they decided to start a fight. That is very rediculous to me to fight over which science fiction series is better. Just goes to show too much demand breaks the supply.
It's good that Nintendo is going to jump in the game again after Nintendo 64. I think why that didn't pick up is that they waited too long and PSX just filled up the market too much. The same may happen now but I'm not all that sure Nintendo will let the same thing happen again. Since PSX 2 will be multiprocessor (just like Sega Saturn), it is difficult to make games for it because you constantly have to synchronize the processors. Thats why Sega Saturn didn't run that much, so they have redesigned it and came up with the Dreamcast which I've played and is pretty good. This shows that Sega has learned, now it'll be Nintendo's turn. Since PSX 2 will come out at the end of next year. Thats taking into account the gaming industry isn't on time. The Dreamcast will do the same thing the Playstation did, it'll fill up the market before the second one had a chance to come out, despite the power the later system shows.
I already have a nice Sony DVD player, I'll never get a game system/disc player because I think each component has a purpose and thats it so I can change around the configuration of all the components to my wishes.

I'm just saying they could if they wanted, of course a company is going to wait out the other one to see if they drop out.

But things and people change.
