- work only on contract based no longer then 12-18 months per company. You won't be included in such rankings... but you might get hired-and-fired faster then usual staff (but better paid)
- make yourself the only person with specific know-how about certain technical aspects (But to serve a niche can make you unemployed easy, for example if the niche is gone).
If there are not so many people that have comparable knowledge it is harder to rank you.
Specialists always get better ranking then generalists.
The link to the PDF leads to a PDF file that is 40KB big... that will hardly contain 40.000 files. And if you open it using Adobe it does crash Adobe PDF Viewer.
The numbers contain for example HAYS IT. I guess its refereing to http://www.hays.co.uk/ which do not sell any license only services. So they have hired some consultants from that company for doing whatever their job was. But they spend no money on licenses. I guess they still would need those people no matter if its Open Source Software or not.
oh those or no good news:(
Anyhow I think its ridiculous as people from Iran quite good know how to use software like torproject.org (or any other proxy that makes google think they do not come from Iran).
