Private trackers aren't so private. If you can request a invite, and get in, chances are good that the RMHC (random money hungry companies) can as well ;) As seen by the sites listed that Media Defender was watching. This was listed in their security breach of emails. Google it ;)

There is no longer an easy way to protect yourself, since using an all cash system is impractical these days. Otherwise, I'd suggest just using all cash ;)

Not true. He doesn't need their approval. He can "borrow" the military currently for 30 days before needing their approval. Though, this *obviously* fails to work out, since wars are *FAR* easier to start than they are to end (see the whole "We're stuck in Iraq" thing ;)). Also: See the Vietnam *CONFLICT* Congress never declared it as a war. Oh and if Bush stops the elections? What are the odds the nation ISN'T going to vote. Our country was founded on the basic principle that if the government fails to hold the citizens interest/rights at heart, the citizens have the right to revolt and overthrow the government. I'm personally hoping that will not happen. I'm petrified of the idea of having an anarchy. I've heard people who want to revolt against the RIAA/MPAA and their lawyers (and from what I perceived, they wanted to use guns to boot). Like launch anarachy on the country because they were against the RIAA/MPAA and their lawyers. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the people's right to revolt. That's an awesome right to have. However, I feel it should be used only has a LAST RESORT. Simply because it can wreak so much havoc and chaos. Not to mention, if we have an anarchy, because *so* much of our society relies upon control, technology we don't know how to manufacture (because China is doing it for us) and organization, I think anarchy would be rather Lord of the Flies-ish. I do inherently feel that everyone is good/has the capacity to be good/do good, even if I don't believe it at times, but I don't think in an anarchical situation we'd hurt other people simply because we don't manufacture enough things to support ourselves. Look at it this way: our common bartering tool is money. It's the thing everyone has in common and everyone needs. How is most money today made? It's not by manufacturing things. It's by shuffling around paperwork that companies need to do in order to comply with the government. If there is no government, people will lose their "shuffling paperwork" job. They will have no money. No money, so they can't afford food. How are they going to get the food with no money? Simple, steal. Since all of America has to consume food at some point in there lives, that could very well get ugly. Now, if we still manufactured goods, it wouldn't matter. For example, I'm a mechanic, and I need to eat (duh!). You are the owner of a chain of grocery stores. 3 of your trucks need to be repaired (parts need to be replaced and you need body work done). I can work on your trucks and you can give me food. Obviously on this model, this drives the value of manufactured goods WAAAAY down, or else (presumably, I'm pulling stuff outta' my ass here) we'd run out of food (considering that it would take a huge amount of food to equate the price of body work and replaced parts).

Not to mention that commercials tend to have a visibility of zero. At least, as far as I'm concerned. I'll walk out of the room when they're on. And walk back in when I hear my show coming back. Not to mention, I don't much watch much TV these days. I also tend to block ads. I guess I'd be the "target" audience, since I only get $20 of allowance and can't be bothered to save money to save my life (as far as $20 a week goes). I will attest that yes, I do spend on insane impulse buys, but a part of that is how I was raised. My mother was raised in a upper middle class, and she was endlessly given money to spend. When she ran out, her dad would give her more. Sadly, she was stupid enough to pass on this tradition to me. She had other problems beside that, but that was a contributing factor into why my dad divorced her. She'd get a credit card and go over her limit, and dad would have to dig her out. She left for other reasons, and she had other problems (Borderline Personality Disorder perhaps with a side of Narcissistic disorder, but she's undiagnosed. And even if she *were* diagnosed, she would refute it and say we all believed/remembered wrong/were conspiring against her). But that's the problem that got dad to push for divorce a year after she filed for separation. He knew that she still owned half the house and he didn't want the credit company to take it away (Hey, I can't blame him. I quite like having a roof over my head). As far as impulse buys go, mine tend to focus mainly on food. Most of it *is* convince (like buying food at college), but I also go to WalMart for food. I'm currently looking for a job (and have to call a couple of places back. Something I failed to do yesterday -_-), since the last time I had a job, I was better at spending money. I was able to spend $3-$5 and get in my "impulse" spending without making a huge dent in my money. *That* was the nicest part about having a job. The working part I hated (since I had to do "maid" work when I didn't have any work that they were *hiring* me for. This tends not to work for me, since my tolerance of dust tends to far exceed most people's tolerance of dust).

Not to mention some of those people who have little education (or alternatively, shitty quality education), tend to breed their children to look down on education as well. So there's not a lot of hope for some of those families to *ever* rise above lower class status.
