Started running 9.10 during its beta via an upgrade from 9.04 with no problems. Since release I haven't seen any issues either. I'm running the xubuntu build on a C2D E6600 with 4G ram and a nVidia 8800GTX768M. Boot times seem to be a touch faster and going from gdm to the xfce session is prettier now.
A thing to note about this nice software from Oracle... from what I found, you have to REGISTER on their website just to get access to it... Registration requires everything... phone, company info, home address, company address, you name it. Kinda intrusive for a GPL thing, no?
Has anyone else noticed any problems connecting to alot of.GOV or.MIL sites? When I try to connect they ping me then wont let me in. Go figure, not only with these bloody army game sites, but with other sites like ins.gov. I find it mildly annoying and am really just wondering if I'm the only person that they ping.;)
Its as if they dont want me to play their games. Guess they know I'm too good for them or something. Lol.
I know the feeling, I'v had multiple ISP's try try to kill my pay accounts for the simple act of me trying to point out that they have security holes and where they are... and how to fix them why must people be so paranoid about people who try to help?
