They also did remakes of FFI and FFII for the PSP. There's also a remake of FFIII for the DS, and an English translation of FFIV for the DS is in the works.
I agree. I don't want the author's opinion. I want the facts about the game. I want to know whether or not I should bother to even rent it, let alone buy it. A good review will give me this information (along with the author's opinion).
I'm glad your upgrade went so smoothly. For my part, it's always been my habit to backup my personal data, wipe, install, and copy over my files from the backup. I did it with Slackware (and would backup/etc as well as/home) and now I do it with OS X.
I figure that when it comes to vaporization, less is better. Vaporized coolant has to be contained, lest it condense in inconvenient places (like your mobo's capacitors).
You don't want to cool with alcohol. The boiling point of most alcohols is between 60 and 80 degrees Celsius, as opposed to water's boiling point of 100 degrees Celsius.
Overlord and Jericho are the only Codemasters games I've played. After playing those two pieces of shit, I'm not willing to try any of their other products.
As CG graphics improve and more photography is done digitally instead of on film, what's to stop a savvy defense lawyer from convincing a jury to dismiss photographic evidence -- including video from surveillance cameras -- on the grounds that it's computer-generated and therefore fake?
I didn't have any real problems with 10.5.0. I got my copy on release day, backed up my data, wiped the partition on my MacBook, and installed from scratch instead of upgrading from Tiger. Ask the ones who had problems if they upgraded or did a fresh install.
Couldn't FIA have found a better developer than Codemasters? Did nobody else want the Formula One brand? After playing the demo for Overlord and forcing myself to finish Clive Barker's Jericho, you couldn't pay me enough to rent a Codemasters game, let alone buy one.
Hmm, I'll have to read it again. I don't recall anything implying that the concept of government itself was the cause of everything that happened. No? Check out the section (I think it's in part 2) where he takes over the TV station and broadcasts his own propaganda, threatening to dismiss humanity if it doesn't get its shit together.
I agree mostly (V wasn't really an anarchist, he just wanted to destroy the current system so that a new, better one could be built instead). Really, the major difference with "V" can be illustrated by this one key line change:
I disagree. Read the novel again, especially his little "speech" to the statue of Lady Justice atop the Old Bailey where he said that he had once loved Justice, but had found a new love: Anarchy.
Also, remember what he said to Evey about what would happen after the Norsefire regime finally fell, how the people would have the chance to create for themselves a society of voluntary order, or to build another government and let history repeat itself.
A dark story with a non-happy ending doesn't sit very well with focus groups. No kidding. Just look at what happened with I Am Legend. In the book, the hero dies at the end knowing that, to the vampires, he was the monster.
And then there's V for Vendetta. How the hell did the Wachowskis take a character that was a bomb-making anarchist and make a liberal out of him?
I doubt that Watchmen will get the treatment its due by Hollywood. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen didn't, and neither did V for Vendetta. Why should Watchmen?
Or Haywood Jablowme.
Wait a second. Aren't members of the John Birch Society called "John Birchers"? If so, I'd say this poor bastard has an unfortunate name.

Find the spammers, and impale them. DEATH TO SPAMMERS!
Government is an embodiment of force, and ill suited to dealing with most social problems.

I guess somebody spilled beer on the servers? I had no idea the guys from FARK also ran Amazon.

Yeah, but Square eventually translated and released the ones it didn't bother to when they were new.

I'm going to assume that it's NSFW.

My wife played the Xbox 360 demo of Kung Fu Panda. It was rental quality at best. Same with Bourne Conspiracy.
I'll be grateful if we get a president that knows how to work the seatbelt in Spaceball One's escape pods.

Tomonobu Itagaki is going to make Tecmo his bitch. We're next.
I'm not going to post spoiler warnings for movies that are out on fucking DVD.

No. And when did Ubisoft hire Peter Molyneaux? This "EndWar will change console RTS" rhetoric sounds like his kind of propaganda.
