Actually it's just a story, so it doesn't matter. The Bible is meant to be illustrative, not literal. For example, the sun didn't really stop moving in the sky for one whole day. That's impossible.

Some Christians insist that the bible is literal and would call you a heretic for that comment.

3:7. And the eyes of them both were opened: and when they perceived themselves to be naked, they sewed together fig leaves, and made themselves aprons.

3:10. And he said: I heard thy voice in paradise; and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.

They knew they were naked and they feared "god" once they had eaten of the tree of knowledge.

If this "god" were just and merciful he would not have punished them for eating of the tree of knowledge as they did not have understanding of right and wrong and therefore could not know that disobeying was wrong.

Also of course it conflicts with the "all knowing" and "all seeing" claims for god, he should have been aware of the temptation of Eve and taken steps to protect them. Not to mention his all knowing abilities should have made him aware of what would happen before he even created the garden, the trees and Adam and Eve. His omniscience seems to have failed him.

The argument I most often hear coming from Christians is: "The Bible says nudity is wrong, and we MUST make everybody else conform to our beliefs, even if they are not Christian."

That story always bugged me. Here we have Adam and Eve tramping around the garden naked and thereby sinning every day while God does nothing. Then along comes the serpent who by getting Eve to eat the apple allows them to understand that they are sinning and stop doing so.

So who is the good one? God for keeping them sinning on a daily basis and therefore dooming them to Hell?

Or is it the serpent who allowed them to understand the error of their ways, to mend those ways and repent and thereby earn the chance at heaven?

Just who is really the good one? To me it seems to be the serpent.

Yahoo search has been marginalized by Google. But its mapping, news, financial, sports, games, and shopping sites are still used by hundreds millions of people. Yahoo is still a huge franchise and would be a rich prize for whoever acquires it.

Perhaps you can't expect people to just switch to GMail for incremental improvements but Yahoo gave me another reason. I used Yahoos financial discussion forums and found that not only was the forum in question being gamed to delete relevant discussion but those doing the gaming by false and unquestioned reports were able to get my E-Mail account connected with the discussions removed without warning or chance to defend myself. I did contact Yahoo and explain the situation and how it made their site useless to me and never recieved a response and the gaming of that discussion forum still goes on, without my taking part in the discussion and without any actual facts being allowed to be presented.

By allowing such abuse of their automated report system Yahoo drove me to GMail.

IE is no more 'integrated' than, say, khtml+Konquerer, or WebKit+Safari are.

Under the License for KDE/Konquerer the source is available and anyone with the appropriate skills and resources can create their own version of KDE with their own browser, even Microsoft. Also you can use Linux with other desktop envrionments, Gnome for example.

IE (according to Microsoft) is integrated into the core OS and is inseparable. No one other than Microsoft can produce a version of Windows with another browser substituted for IE. Microsoft even has a history of forbidding OEMs from installing another browser. Can you use the Windows OS with a different Desktop Environment?

Now why did Microsoft integrate IE into Windows? To block competition while avoiding true compliance with the order not to bundle IE with Windows. By integrating they made it impossible to unbundle it and substitute your own free choice.

    So the circumstances are different.

How did it get through? The extended thrust period was caused due to the difference in air pressure at the altitude at the end of burn and the sealevel (or nearly) that they did the original test burns at. With the lower air pressure more reaction mass was able to bleed through the system, end result longer thrust than predicted.
