Congratulations climbers that will die on the trip back down! Now your pictures can be posted to facebook or twitter to proclaim your success and no one can argue that you didn't make it!

  3. Reasonable Explanation on 1928 Time Traveler Caught On Film? · · Score: 1

Now I'm not sure exactly when hand held tape recorders started to come out but I do know that original recorders have been around since the 1800s, it could quite possibly be just that, a tape recorder. It would explain the position of her (or of what you think his) hand, and would even explain why they had it neir their mouth.

  4. questionable on Warner Brothers Hiring Undercover Anti-Pirates · · Score: 1

"causing general frustration amongst the file-sharing population on the Internet." anyone else getting the feeling that all this means is that they are going to be writing viruses and attempting to distribute them to anyone found pirating the films? after all its not like any law enforcement agency is going to take them seriously

  5. Legal way to win on Judge Rules That Reasonable Consumer Should Know "Crunchberries" Are Not Fruit · · Score: 1

The way that this sounds is that if for whatever reason there were such as a crunchberry they would have a valid argument and have the possibility of suing successfully. So if they were just so lucky as a new type of berry is discovered and is named crunchberry then they could sue, asuming that the name of the cerial changed or added crunchberries.

  6. Dr. Frankenstein would be happy on Curved Laser Beams Could Help Tame Lightning · · Score: 1

Now that we can have a much more accurate destination for lightning strikes we could prevent disasters such as forest fires caused by lightning, but what I am more interested in seeing is what we will come up with to just simply convert the lightning into raw power that could possibly be fairly inexpensive during different times of the year.

Now if they were to find a way to turn the waste into a byproduct of alcohol it would mean that younger children/teens could not get this due to laws against alcohol and it would also set many difficulties for when they start to drive. From the time you get your licence to I believe the age of 18 you can not have a single drop of alcohol in your body and drive, if you have a .01 you are above the limit...

and right now I'm fairly confident to put up a small wager stating that NASA is already planning a mission to see what caused this and see what has been hiding underneath that storm for all these years.

  9. Re:Works For Me on Teacher Sells Ads On Tests · · Score: 2, Insightful

I agree, right now my school is in a $5 million defficite and we are currently scouring any way to save our asses and I personally like this route better than cutting sports, getting rid of schools, forcing the requirement of pointless articles of cloths for things like gym and cutting just about everything that we need for classes

  10. Will This Work on President Bush Signs Genetic Nondiscrimination Act · · Score: 1

Even after we made racial discrimination illegal it still went on, it is even debatable that it still goes on today with certain employers. If there is even the slightest chance that Health Insurance, future employers or everyday people can get a hold of it they will discriminate because people can't always suppress initial feelings of the things that we learn.

  11. Questionable on Video Games Can Make Us More Creative · · Score: 1

What are all the games that they tested? if they only tested DDR you might as well just start telling people to go outside, exercise and have fun since the way that this looks it is more or less the result of endorphins being released in our bodies.

  12. I Think It's A Good Idea on Amusement Park Bans PDAs and Smartphones · · Score: 1

I think that it is actually a good idea. most people will probably fight it at first partly because of keeping in touch with the outside world but then if you think about it they are only banning smartphones and PDAs so you can still have some types of cell phones to make sure no one gets lost or keep in contact with the outside world.
