I am actually impressed he had a 250,000 strong botnet. Sure cracking bank passwords is bad, but not really. No one get's physically hurt, banks are insured, no guns, and no police chase after the getaway car. Someone steals your pin and withdrawals your account it's not like you are screwed for life. It's not like the money is even real or the bank can just undo the changes. Your money is numbers on a screen and sometimes paper representing numbers on a screen. I give this man credit for finding a safer way to rob banks. Saying the man deserves some kind of lynching or any other type of strange punishment is nuts.
OK well this "monopolistic actions" have created a great product for the past 10 years at least. Psystar should lose this case. Apple is more than far away from a monopoly. They are at like 11% of pc market. Maybe my stats are wrong but psystar should lose and I hope they do. Unfortunately these practices have helped created a superior product.
Define fiasco. I work in a shop that sells and services Mac and PC. As far as problems from 10.x to 10.5 have been extremely minimal. I've seen a few problems with some 3rd party programs and the Airport. Nothing even close to something I would call a fiasco. Windows on the other hand... is getting out of hand with how much it does not really work. Almost all of the new PCs sold came back to be upgraded back to XP. Not a single customer asked to be downgraded to from 10.5. Snow Leopard is a stupid name though I wish they change it.
Could be delayed public information. I am willing to wager they've already found life on Mars. With such a large percentage of people that still think the earth is about 5000 years old... who knows what will happen when word gets out.
"god made the bacteria 120,000 years old to test our faith"
To reclaim the oil, you have to boil it. Seems like on many scales you would use more energy "wringing out" the paper than you would get from the recovered fuel. Very true but think about the time and energy used to clean up current oil spills. It may balance out.
I would hope so about it being vaporware. I am not amazed or amused by this video. I never had a problem using a mouse to zoom in. Especially one with a wheel on it. Why not focus on making a real OS instead of working on a replacement for the magnifying glass cursor. just my opinion.
I totally agree that it's a good thing. I just highly doubt its claims. I think I saw this guy on tv and he turned a fan with a bunch of dead 9 volts with a huge device under a blanket at a states fair. He mainly babbled about the government keeping him quiet. The hill billy's seemed convinced but I am not.
He should at least have a patent on the device. His claims of mysterious forces IMO are total crap. Unless he discovered a miracle device that is so advanced no scientists can accept it, it's nothing more than a new motor/generator that isn't what it claims to be. Hence the lack of patents and support.

I wasn't going to pay for it before and I am still not going to pay for it.

a security hole in Windows...
Looks 2D to me.
Of course, I was talking about the people who upgraded who had Tiger or earlier.

I am still voting "none of the above".
Exactly! Forget the god particle, they found god bacteria!

Not to be an ass but haven't these overlord jokes gone too far?

At best he invented a high efficiency electric motor/generator.
