Why not just tell the application vendors to "eliminate as many unnecessary privilege escalations as possible"? It would be an easier way to solve the problem, plus less people would hate their operating system.

However, this lawmaker wishes to remain anonymous because he realizes that people will think he is not very intelligent as the law would be impossible to enforce, and the Supreme Court has already found anonymous posting to be constitutional.
Removing warning labels would be an easy way to do that. As an example, a google search for something as stupid as "Do not attempt to stop chainsaw with hands" returned 156 results. (Including things about "Do not attempt to stop chainsaw with hands or genitals." I sure needed to be told that.)
