    We need to take a lesson from other groups. If techies could somehow form an organization to strongly oppose such legislation in the same manner as the NRA prevents gun legislation, these bills would never get off the ground. It's time to organize and take it on the offensive!

    Everyone says they want linux to be the next big o/s. Then, when Linux starts grabbing market control from other groups, the same people wine and complain! If open source takes market share from closed source competitors, some people will be laid off. It's not that complicated.

    I know HTML. If you were to look at the source of my webpage, you would be amazed... Big deal! How many people care how the source looks as long it looks pretty under IE or Netscape? It generally doesn't matter how pretty the soure is, because no one looks at it anyway.

    I thought the whole point of these alternative registrars were that they were alternative : that means they are not official by their very nature. If you want an address that will work by default on any computer, use a regular .com like everyone else.

    I do not like this at all. The people who support it can point to movie theaters as examples of a success using this type of business practice though. When you see a movie, you are paying to spend a certain amount of time watching a screen. The same thing is going on here... only the books publishers don't have to pay for a theater, since you are reading the book at home.

    I would like to point out that the screen shots looked rather magnified. That means that the spaces between pixels in the handspring picture are not really as large as they appear. When you compare the two models side by side in real life, the difference may not be as apparent.

    Don't just ask what should be on your resume. We need details! What type of job are you looking for? If you want to be a Unix admin, I don't think that you need to mention that you can use power point; if you into tech upport, you might want to leave it in.

    Also, how can we know to cut, unless we see what you have? Post the sucker and let's see what you got. Who knows after seeing your resume, I might hire you... then again, I'm still in college, so don't hold your breath.
