Perhaps you would do well to note that SSRIs have a fairly long half-life. I think it's fairly unlikely that, not having taken the pills for only a few days, your blood levels of sertraline would be diminished to the extent that you should feel such effects as you mentioned. I feel more strongly disposed to impute your increase in dysphoria following your withdrawal to the placebo effect.
As an aside, I have taken various SSRIs in my life and none of them did much if anything to alleviate my depression.
