    all the people get the DNI (National identification document, but in spanish :) ), and there is a photo and one finger and a sign (they keep in a building the all ten fingers, don't know how to say it, the image of the finger, actualy, some policeman argentino invented that)
    In case the police want to know if you are you, they send the image to the capital and in 24 hs, they said yes, and they let you out of the police deparment.
    it's rare now, but in the past years It was a common practice here.

    It's no a good idea to live here, but in one way or other we will change that.

    Now you can make aa Apache module for linux/Windows in Kylix/delphi.

    I don`t know for sure, but I think you can download a free copy of Kylix from Borland.

    I think corruption is more or less the same in all the countries, the difference is that in the 3rd world we have less money, so it seems more dangerous/criminal.

    On the other side, US/Europe corporations make a lot of money from us, thanks the local corruption. in Argentina, the phones, electricity, roads, oil, etc. are spanish, french, etc. they are making a lot of money: more than in Europe!

    in the spanish version of the book there is a short story name "And the stone shout", about a cuople of americans in mexico, after a atomic war. the people of the mexican town kill the couple, with anger. T think Its a interesting history in this war times.

    Alos, you have fractional numbers, estored as numerador/denominador (I don't know how to say in english) like 1/3, without loosing precision.

    if you have (1/3) * (1/9) you get (1/27), not .333333333 * 0.999999999 = 0.037037

    I'm not happy with the current situation.

    Most people don't have mony for food and a lot are going down in the life status.

    The only that are getting richer are the bankers.

    There are 20% of not emploiment at this time, and is getting worse as pass the days.

    All of my friend are considering an exodus to europe (many grandparents came from europe in the WWII), or the USA or any First World country.

    Save the whales!
