My nuts are on fire but facebook still won't load syndrome. Really, we're going to have a new medical condition caused by stupid user tricks. If you suffer from this you should remember to remove the laptop when your lap gets hot. That is all.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this but thank you for your observation. To be clear, there is no God or gods or deity like anything. We (mankind) may never know for certain from whence we came. We could be the ancestors of ooze or the surviving victims of a crashed colony ship. The universe is expanding but the expansion is slowing. Someday, the expansion may reverse. Someday it may all condense to nothingness. There is no entity in charge of this process. It may have happened before. All of these things would be difficult if not impossible for a true believer to say simply to fool you. You are not important enough for me to risk eternal damnation, were I a true believer. But all of that aside, you failed to answer the question. And by avoiding the real question, you have exposed yourself as not having the courage of your convictions. You exist. Therefore your mother chose to not abort you. Had she chosen to abort you, you would have no opinion. By saying you now have no opinion; one could surmise you do not wish to exist. I have no moral objection based on theistic beliefs to the act of abortion. However, as a member of society, I lament the potential loss of the person that could have cured cancer, or the developer of room temperature cold fusion. It is ironic to me in fact that most people that profess to be in support of abortion will go to great lengths to decry the loss of life incurred by war, famine, disease, hunger etc. Ah well, I'm glad you exist because you provide diversity and your gene's will make us stronger, should your progeny survive long enough to matter.

You may be on to something. And if you factor in the time to contract union labor in France, the limited available work hours due to union demands and the compensation requirements for said limited work hours. The store management may be secretly thanking the thieves for saving them money because of tax write-offs.

Correct. Also, if you superimpose a 92 x 92 mile grid (8464 sq miles) onto a map of the American Southwest, you will not be able to find that much uninhabited land. Oh, by the way, most of that land happens to be Indian Reservation so we get to practice a little more "Eminent Domain" with the natives.

It's amazing what passes for conservative these days. Bernie Goldberg said it best when he described the environment surrounding the leaders of CBS news some years ago. I'll paraphrase here... If everyone you know is of a liberal bent, with some of your peers being more liberal and some of them being less so, you can soon delude yourself into thinking you are a moderate. The same principle applies regardless of your social or political persuasion. If you only listen to Fox News you may find yourself thinking that all other news agencies are liberal. If you only listen to MSNBC, you make the mistake of classifying CNN as conservative. I know, I've heard myself say it. Bottom line for me is that I have for some time felt that a major portion of organized software piracy is a vehicle for revenue generation for organized crime. Regardless of the criminal intent of these organizations, be it terrorism or drugs, I'm happy that someone is taking a look at it. This problem didn't start in the last 8 years and damn sure won't go away if Obama or Clinton take the reins. That is to say that the problem is blind to political considerations and the solution must be as well.
