    I don't believe Disney has any intention of imposing their style on Marvel. The very things you don't want changed is exactly what Disney are after. Of course, the possibility that they bugger it up is always there. :)

    I agree with Hognoxious, techno-vampire I think you are missing something: The truth is only irrelevant when the defense have done something like plead justification for the public benefit or some such. Because it is still defamation, which is what the actual crime is in the UK I believe. And no, IANAL.

    Those "adjustments" are probably standard formula added to such.. erm.. polls. An obvious way to manipulate these surveys would be to carefully select the geographical location and demographic into a group. And then randomly select from that. That has a higher probability of getting the answer you wanted. If not, select (or deselect) more test subjects until the desired answer is obtained.
