Napster allows access to all sorts of music for free. The music on Napster isn't free music. This is analogous to saying that stolen merchandice from a convenience store is free. People who steal music on Napster aren't getting it for free, they're stealing it for free.
Actually, I work at a public school district and have found the percentage discount of M$ software to be very low in comparison to others. Adobe and especially Novell have very good school pricing schemes.
Right on! My employer hasn't seen Linux as a viable solution due to the fact that it won't integrate with the exsisting Novell network. It may finally be possible to have the amazing TCP/IP performance of Linux with the management ease of NDS. I'm excited.
