Installing and maintaining a Windows machine takes much more time than installing and maintaining a Linux machine.
It's Windows users that apparently have "a lot of free time to play around".
...however, most Windows users don't install or maintain anything... they just use it till it breaks and than pay someone to fix it.
The only reason I use Windows is because most games won't run on Linux.
