While I agree that Red Hat has done great things for the Linux world, I can't help but cringe when I hear reports of "Red Hat, distributor of the Linux Operating System," as if they are the only game in town. This isn't their fault, of course, but I'm sure they don't mind. I suppose this is something that we'll just have to wait a while for the press to get a bit more of a clue about (or for Red Hat to take over the world:)

I've got a TNT, and the current GLX driver are pretty darned slow, even when compared to the performance I've heard from the G200 driver. The driver doesn't seem to be at all optimized, and since there are no specs (afaik), nobody's working on it. Everytime I 'cvs update', I see all the G200 stuff updated, and usually none of the TNT stuff. NVidia either needs to finish their driver or release specs!
