Speaking of DD-WRT, how up-to-date is that list of supported hardware? I have to routers on hand whose model numbers are supported but not their version numbers. (and the list does not seem to have changed in the past several months)
I think we all recognize XKCD references now. Those that don't understand and aren't embarrassed to acknowledge their ignorance can ask and be enlightened.
When their beta product is getting 21/100 on the Acid3 test while nobody else's are below 80, I have a hard time believing anybody would be interested.
when microsoft bids failed, and microsoft chose not to go for a hostile takeover to prevent damaging its public image, for some reason doj started looking into the google-yahoo deal out of 'concerns of anti trust'. how convenient, how timely, what a coincidence.
Consider that the Google-Yahoo deal didn't exist until after the MS bids failed.
Downer: no sale. He's such a nice straight-up guy he wrote the Lable about it. Got no reply of course, which pissed him off more. I nodded through this and explained again why DRM sucks - it fucks over the legit customers like him, while not slowing down the pirates.
Speaking of which: did you email him links to.torrents with instructions?
Or make sure your job description includes a line about keeping an eye on changes in the industry.
Oh, and did I mention the use of a sensible file system instead of HFS+ ?
The same goes for Linux.
In OS X's defense, there is an option to format a drive as "UNIX Filesystem".
...the lowest of the lowest in the IT world.
VisualBasic, anyone?
Very good point. Mention to the programmer that he will be able to use this as examples of his work that future prospective employers may like to see.
And what is it like now? So desperate they let you in?
