    The same goes for Linux.

    In OS X's defense, there is an option to format a drive as "UNIX Filesystem".

    Speaking of DD-WRT, how up-to-date is that list of supported hardware? I have to routers on hand whose model numbers are supported but not their version numbers. (and the list does not seem to have changed in the past several months)

    When their beta product is getting 21/100 on the Acid3 test while nobody else's are below 80, I have a hard time believing anybody would be interested.

    when microsoft bids failed, and microsoft chose not to go for a hostile takeover to prevent damaging its public image, for some reason doj started looking into the google-yahoo deal out of 'concerns of anti trust'. how convenient, how timely, what a coincidence.

    Consider that the Google-Yahoo deal didn't exist until after the MS bids failed.

    Are the Adobe SpeedLauch apps running in the backgroud? That is the only way I can imagine the 200MB Adobe Reader 9 launching faster than Foxit.

    Downer: no sale. He's such a nice straight-up guy he wrote the Lable about it. Got no reply of course, which pissed him off more. I nodded through this and explained again why DRM sucks - it fucks over the legit customers like him, while not slowing down the pirates.

    Speaking of which: did you email him links to .torrents with instructions?
