I've never understood that. "Why not use this browser that does everything you say you want?" "Because it doesn't have EXTENSIONS!"
It doesn't. Firefox doesn't do what I want, Chromium doesn't do what I want, and last I checked Opera doesn't do what I want.
Adblock Plus and AdBlock (Chrome extension) do what I want (EasyList). NoScript and NotScripts do what I want (simple javascript whitelisting on a site-by-site basis).
Pro tip:
Governments have tanks, helicopters, cruise missiles, GPS, satellites, and trained/disciplined armies. They don't fear your semi-auto shotgun.
They may not fear my (theoretical) shotgun, but (in the US) they may fear pitting the ~1.5 million "active personnel" against the nearly 120 million people that are "fit for military service"
Um, yes? You just grab a list of people from your cell phone address book and send a mass SMS, you're done faster than you could boot your beige boxen.
I've spend at least 10 minutes editing this post. This is par for the course for anything I write. The 30 seconds it takes to boot my mid-to-low-range laptop is well worth the superior WPM I get at a keyboard over texting.
...every company will be owned by a sole person (or partnership) who is directly responsible for the crimes of his company, including jail time. - Example: Ford makes Pintos that blow up? And they are aware of the problem but refuse to fix it, because it costs too much? Then Mr. Ford can spend 5-10 years in jail for the crime of 3rd degree manslaughter (times about 10,000 counts).
Do you want to be responsible for every lawsuit brought against your company because a new hire did something illegal on company time and HR wasn't thorough enough on their background check? Would you enter into a partnership with someone less wealthy than yourself if, in the case the investment goes sour, it would mean that creditors will only bother going after you (since you're the one with the deep pockets)? Would you fund an investment if it took putting all your eggs in one basket (because you can't risk sharing the load with other investors)?
If you mean it should compete with Intel CPUs for PC processors, on the other hand, one impediment may be that ARM is (at least at present) a 32-bit architecture.
IIRC, the whole 64-bit issue is due to x86's poor design, and ARM's memory limits aren't tied to the number of bits.
Dunno. But central California is in the 90's.
The PIII has a longer battery life than the dual-core laptop, and much longer than the desktop. ;-)
Otherwise, it'd be in the garage next to the Apple II
Dual core netbook is low-end?
I was surprised by that, too. Dual-Core is my high end, with a PIII on the low end.
Chromium > Minefield on that system, btw.
What's the lifespan of a patent? 20 years (before extensions)? Only about 3 years left on this one.

1) How do you say go-oo in conversation?
Go-ohoh.
Step 1: Google "US embassy uzbekistan" (or some other Middle East country)
Step 2: Click the "Contact Us" link.
Step 3: ???
Or maybe he'll try going after Mr. 41%'s share...
I just compile that part out.
You mean like Phoenix^WFirebird^WFirefox?
They aren't founding projects. They're choosing projects to fund that meet the winning goals.
Khan Academy does provide the mathematical R. Africa's languages may be a bit diverse for Reading and Riting courses.
For some reason my control-v is broke right now...
Right click?
This software can be virtualized on most modern PC configurations.
IIRC, he may be breaking the EULA if he does that.
Like I said, it's not the WPM. I edit and re-edit continuously. My previous post had been three times longer at one point.
So what do you say about assassinations of decent men?
Who needs guns to perform assassinations?

And what about the rest of us?
The point is: he needs more caffeine.
...unavailable to those who are only licensed to use their copies of copyrighted works.
Doesn't this apply to more than just software? Do you own your book or are you merely licensed to use it?
No need to insult the Apple users like that...
