    "Hello."
    "Hey, what's up?"
"Well, I'm a board member, and they're tracking our calls now, so I can't call you at (insert newspaper name here)'s HQ from the office anymore, and that's why I'm calling you from a pay phone."
"OK, just meet me at the coffee shop at 7pm tonight."
    "Sure."

    Problem solved. Idiots.

  3. Oh, the irony... on Mac Cloner Psystar Ships First Service Pack · · Score: 5, Funny

The funniest part of this whole thing is the guy who wrote the patch that allows Psystar to install Apple's OS X on their PC boxes is pissed because Psystar is using his "free software" to make tons of cash and they are not giving him any of the profit. What's ironic is the fact that he blatantly violated Apple's EULA, and is now surprised that Psystar is violating his EULA. LOL.

  7. So, if a root-server changes its IP address... on Identity Theft Hits the Root Name Servers · · Score: 1, Insightful

How will anyone else know, since it's the root system responsible for giving out IP addresses?

Example: I request www.google.com. Parent doesn't know, its parent doesn't know, blah blah blah until I go to the "root hints" which are hard-coded IP addresses. There I look up www.google.com, and get my IP address. Now if that root server has a different IP, how the hell do I find it?

Is this a catch-22 or what?
