I didn't side track, I responded to your point about people wanting to harm others, making the point that it's not just so called terrorists that want to harm.
I've never understood how grown men can make such childishly naive statements.
Perhaps we/I live (foolishly?) in hope of a better world?
Stomping your foot and screaming "BUT I DON'T LIKE IT!" isn't going to change anything.
At the risk of getting in to a pointless argument, I feel the U.S. invasion of several countries (illegally or otherwise) seems to be a sign of the U.S. wanting to harm people and as we've seen, all to often they have been civilians.
War is bad period! No one has the 'right hands' to wield war machines IMHO.
The U.S. are worried this technology will get into the wrong hands! What makes them think they have the right ones? Such arrogance!
In my opinion, there are no 'right hands' to wield such vile technology.
In my personal experience I had to pay (on behalf of a friend) an additional £30 to down grade, and all because M.S.s new OS was a mess and wouldn't play ball with the software they needed to run for their business, an absolute disgrace!
By 'terrorist' you mean the American government right?
Any so called terrorists on the other side of the world were created by the US with their damn oppression!
Nothing like Photo shop?!
Most Linux distro's come bundled with GIMP which is a fantastic competitor to Photoshop!
I agree with you on the video capture and edit point though it is still very possible.
I have used Firefox for a few years and love it's potential.
But it has always been buggy and I was forced into v3 when I updated Ubuntu recently and I think it's got worse!
It crashes more now, they have changed features that I loved (like the way you save U/N and P/W) and on top of that most of my plugins don't work anymore:-(
I warm to your gentle understanding heart!

Good point! Maybe I'm a deluded idealist...

I used to use a nice quick keyboard short cut, which now seems to be a long winded one or mouse action!
