  1. Dark energy on Satellite To Research 'Dark Energy' · · Score: 1

Hopefully I'm not to late... I know a little about it, so I will do my best to sum it up. Recently they made a discovery looking at the red shifts of stars that makes them think that the universe is expanding at an accellerated rate, unlike before the thought all the accelleration happened right after the Big bang. So they think this dark energy is causeing the universe to expand a faster, and faster. then there is a lot of stuff about it justn appearing and dissapearing. But I'll just say it seems to be in deep space, and there seems to be a lot of it.

  2. I have heard the project is screwed! on Concept Artwork For Snowcrash? · · Score: 1

Well I was talking to a friend in the movie buisness and he said that there have been several scripts writtin, and the all suck. (Then he told me how he thought it was easy to adapt scripts from booka, until he tried. I guess it's actually quite difficult.) And that they have basicly have stopped trying. Which really sucks, Judge looks a little beefy for the part in my eyes, the Fine young cannibals guy would do pretty well. As long as they took care of his bald spot! YT would have to be the same age, if she wouldn't it would screw everything up. Would she live with her mom at the age of 21? well, that takes the FBI out of the story. But I would love a great Snowcrash movie. I still have hope.

  3. Zyvex and the assembler! on Nanomedicine · · Score: 1

You might kno this but.... Everything with nanotech still realy revolves around the construction of the universal assembler. This is something that puts atoms together one by one, thus we can make these ultrasmall machines. You body does this already, but onlywith amino acids and protiens This book came out more like last october, because people were talking about it at the foresight confrence on Nanotechnology. I recently heard that the author has gone to work for Zyvex, a company trying to build the universal assembler. www.zyvex.com And for all your nano needs www.vjnano.com has all the articles you will ever want. And all of drexler's books are good, Nanosystems the least foretelling and most technical.

  4. anyone see advertisers taking advantage of this? on FCC: Legal Low-Power FM Broadcasting Coming Soon · · Score: 1

Can anyone see advertisers taking advantage of this? Just think, you like 103.9 it's your station. But 103.7 is the Coca Cola station, and 104.1 is the Microsoft station. I just hope that the FCC (how ever much I think it's censorship sucks) makes some decent regulations. Or maybe the company stations will be there, just no one will listen to them, that's if they have a digital tuner.
