was for the ZX Spectrum. I guess only Uk/Europe peeps would remember those. The software house had previously created an awesome game for its time called Valhalla and following that they brought out a game called The Great Space Race. I used my birthday money and "borrowed" some of my building society savings without my parents knowing so that I could buy it. As I stood there looking at the box while deciding whether to buy it (I never bought without reviews but Valhalla was sooo good), my friend convinced me to purchase...that steaming pile of dogturd!!?
Oh well, never liked him much anyway:)
Ooh Sorry but I must disagree big time here. Look at the dreamcast section on gamespot. See how many titles are above 9?!? Sega has got great games for the dreamcast. They always had great games but yeah sometimes they clucked up. Now the NES/SNES were great but then didnt Nintendo cluck up just as big with the N64 (CD's will never be popular...) Sony hit it big cos they got people who arent really interested in video games to buy their console. They captured the average joe on the street and got his money. There are some really great games out for the Playstation but there is a LOT of crap and I dont think that the top games for the Playstation outshine the Dreamcasts. Now as for the PS2...the first set of games do *not* match up to Sega's present offerings in any shape or form. Soul Edge vs Tekken? SE wins. Madden vs NFK2k1? NFLetc is the better *game*. Touch passing man! Ridge Racer looks good mind you:)
Personally, I think the PS2 will rise because they have the hype with them and their kit is a step above the Dreamcast. If that had come with DVD as standard I think it might have been different. Guess we shall see!
If I remember correctly, the screen saver is started in the system context in NT. The screen saver then switches to the user context. I think this was solved in Service Pack 329078 or something similar:) (probably 6) I did see a patch our for it. Mind you, I doubt that was the reason why they told MSCE students not to use it. Everyone starts putting Big ass 3d graphics and the cpu utilisation zooms up to 50% right off the bat!
Ever thought of replying "No" when prompted with these reboot messages and wait until you have done all your changes before sinking the beast known as NT? Isnt pretty but still brighter than doing each task one at a time:)
