I LOVE me some D&D. I think all gamers have sat around and wondered about what a movie like this would be like. What actors to play the parts and what not.. I think this guy has to have had a HEINOUS campaign going on to extract a movie from it. The fun of the game comes from, IMHO, the players, and the roleplaying. To many get wrapped up in stats and dice-rolling. If they can just keep the "numbers" on the back burner, then they should do alright. Hey..at least they'll prolly get their money back on the film. I'm definately going to see it. I'm damn curious...
Now if ILM would jump on getting a GraphicsFest movie like Dragonlance.....man.. =]
I dunno. It seems like the could pull the manpower out on these kind of Computer Forensic cases. But it looks like they'd just prefer to leave the "allegedly guilty" party's box doing paperweight duty while the accused decides when he's going to give up. Innocent or not. Government Sponsored Oubliette. Besides..3 techs! That's it for Uncle Sam!?! Sure..I believe you.
I don't think consumers are getting the point. Each piece of equipment only holds the value of it's usability. I specifically love Linux for it's ability to breathe new life into older equipment. I've also got an AMD-K6-2 350 running linux, and i am very impressed. If AMD can beat Intel's performance pound-for-pound for a FRACTION of the price...well, nuff said.
