There's an easy solution to all of this.....Ban anyone from d/ling files who doesn't upload files to P2P networks. That way the lazy people who wouldn't even think about complaining will complain when they can't d/l files from their favorite network. When these ISP's, start getting a whole bunch of complaints concerning this issue they have 2 choices...ignore their customers, or submit to what their customers want. Either way we win. If they ignore their customers, they will eventually switch to ISPs that allow uploading. Otherwise they'll allow uploading. Simple and easy don't you think? People won't pay for broadband if they can't even d/l a file. Don't give people a choice, either they complain....or they don't get their files....either they switch to another ISP, or they pay ISP service charges and recieve nothing in return. Simple solution to a simple problem.

Will OpenUniverse 1.0 beta be avaliable under the GPL?
Aside from the anonymous filesharing for always-on internet connections, and perhps freenet,
