LOL! Thank you for making my day. I don't think I've laughed that hard in weeks. Very much appreciated ;-)

Where is the Debug menu in Safari? Sorry to ask such a newbie question, but I can't seem to find it.

You can serve via FTP with a simple port redirection. Redirect port 21 on your external address to port 21, or any port you want really, on your internal NATed box. Works great for me.

I don't use Linux myself (more of a BSD person), but I have 3 PCs and a Mac behind an OpenBSD 3.3 firewall/router and I don't experience any of the problems you describe. *shrug*

  4. Wow, that's funny on Microsoft Sued for Defective Software · · Score: 1

You're dead wrong. Bush won the election fair and square.

LOL. Wow, that's pretty funny. Actually, my friend, it's you who is dead wrong. Bush did not win the election fair and square. Bush purchased the election. And when that almost failed to get him elected, he had his daddy give the Supreme Court a call and made them stop the recount that would've proved Al Gore the winner. Make no mistake. Gore won the popular vote, and if it weren't for a bad case of corruption in Florida, thanks to GW's brother Jeb, he would've won the electoral vote too.

not like you really need someone else pointing out how flawed your argument is, but i can't resist mentioning something here. anyone that argues that movies, videogames, etc. shape young minds and make people into what they become is full of shit. i don't mean this to be a troll, but i'm basing this on personal experience. i was watching violent rated R movies when i was 10, i played with GI Joe and Transformers while growing up, both very violent toys, i love violent video games, and i'm a completely non-violent person in real life. i've never even been in a fight. so that whole argument is a bunch of crap, IMHO.

  6. Cement mixer and some old joysticks on Starchaser Plans Test Drop · · Score: 5, Funny

Sweet! Nothing inspires confidence in your homemade spacecraft like listing the garage-sale parts it was built from. I'm betting he's got a few toilet paper tubes in there somewhere too, most likely as part of the exhaust system.

  7. Why aren't these more popular? on Transmeta Astro -- More Details · · Score: 1

Why is it you can buy an Intel or AMD chip at a thousand different sites, but hardly anyone sells these Transmeta chips. Seems like low power consumption leads to less noise, and I for one would love anything to make my system quieter.
