After looking at zootjeff's power supply, it looks like he ripped off one of the power supply designs that was designed on the www.mp3car.com message board also. zootjeff hasn't done anything original. Many people on www.mp3car.com also use plexiglass cases. His story should not have been posted.
zootjeff hasn't done anything new and I don't see what all the talk is about. I think he just wanted to post it on slashdot because either he hasn't really done his homework, or he wants recognition for something many others have done for months and years. See www.mp3car.com and visit the message board as well as the example pages. I already have my own at:
I've read a little bit of the docs on this page and they have access control mechanisms and the like and I believe seom rj-45 TCP/IP access devices. It might be what your looking for.

Are their any alternatives to Openmail that support the address books and other fancy useless features that management requires us to use that are in MS Outlook without using MS Exchange Server?
I have sendmail running but it just provides basic email send/receive, it doesn't support sharing MS Outlook address books. I understand its some sort of LDAP/Samba share, but I am unable to figure out the configuration, but Openmail is the only mail server I am aware of that supports all the fancy features of MS Outlook other then MS Exchange server..
All their any alternatives to Openmail that support all these extra features in MS Outlook other then MS Exchange Server that I can use on Linux?
This is a repost, someone get rid of the newbies

Someone get rid of the slashdot story posting newbies, alan cox on a chip was a quickie a while back. You think they could atleast check and search to see if what they are posting has been posted before.
Thanks for the responses. For those wondering. We are using magnetic cards because they are about $.50 a piece to make, verses a smart card that is about $5 to make. We do not charge our patrons any dues or fees, and we don't have any late fees because we are a library that deals in historical records, so none of our materials are in circulation. All of the items you checkout can not leave the library.
I don't see whats sick about the funny post. Sarcasm is one of the many different forms of Humor. If you don't like the funny posts, either a) don't read comments, or b) don't read slashdot or c) just deal with it and quit whining when you can't have your way 100% of the time.
Hello Slashdot??? This is old news. The kernel bad ram patch was discussed on the weekly kernel traffic digest several weeks ago. Do the slashdot story posters read any news sites other then slashdot? Other news sites are out there...
At a place I worked at a little over a year ago, we got the most detailed CAD drawing of the chemical plant we could find and a program that would convert the CAD drawing to a half-life map and played it. FUN!:)
Um...Whats the big deal here? The chemical plant I work for, after I upgrade PC's, with my boss's permission I build usable PC's and give them to the employee's at work. They all have modems and the company has several dialups that we no longer use but still pay for. The workers are free to use the dialups and they have PC's. Now they aren't the best in the world, along the lines of 486 PCI's or P133's but hey, whats the big deal with Intel or Ford doing it, I bet lots of other companies have been doing the same thing I have been doing at mine.
Transmeta says it uses one watt, but that doesn't mean much for low power consumption. Its an indicator, but its like Microsoft and Mindcraft, its more of a half truth...so...What happens to be the milliamp hour rating on the 400 and 700 mhz processors?

Why not just have a developer look at the code and then email the kernel-list with what sort of security fixes Alan Cox did.
faggot.
how do you run Ultime 7 on WinME?
Buy a Valentine 1 radar detector and haul ass to work. Cut that 2 hour commute to a 15 minute commute :)
Aww poor baby...eat my taint!
Lets get of moms....because i just got of yours.
Don't you have anything else you could be doing?

...The first ever spam email was sent out, making yet another event in history, that has impacted nearly everyone's way of life.
Anyone know if you have to do anything special to compile a kernel on RedHat 7 other then having kgcc*.rpm installed? :)
This is bad news. GSM encryption has already been cracked a while ago, why offer cracked encryption to customers?
