so whats your point? that its inevitable that someone using drugs will commit a property crime, therefore we should be arresting every drug user as they may commit a real crime one day, it also could be they are committing break-ins and muggings because they are douche bags, do we now arrest all douche bags because they may someday commit a crime, i mean after all they are douche bags.

This is still the case, our local call center where my girlfriend is a quality specialist (yes they have them, they are just not listened too for the most part), they have only one contract for the whole building, and they are paid by buy how many calls they take, so its not just outsourced call center jobs. In my experience in working there for a very short time it is the number one complaint of the people working there, more then pay or schedule's or hours, because most people (probably 75%) genuinely want to help people but they are restrained by 2 minute call handle times, try giving good service to someone in two minutes after they have been on hold for 10-30 minutes only happens about 5% of the time at best, the rest get bullshitted, or transferred to some number then gets them right back where they started. Sure they have intensives for good reviews of the service they gave, but that is to get meager bonuses, (which they wont get anyway if the have a high handle time) their hourly rate and their performance reviews are entirely based on handle time.

just a quick question, if 787 billion = 1 trillion, but tax cuts dont count as spending, and the stimulus was give or take 40% tax cuts, how much was really spent, by your definition of spending?

damn, i pay that for 15/1 cable, even at peak i only fluctuate between 12 and 15Mb, it ridiculous to have to pay that much for that little. the only outage i have ever had was once when my auto pay screwed up cause i got a new debit card and once a few weeks back when we got a shit ton of snow and apparently an avalanche took out a power station and it cut the fiber, i guess there still learning where and where not to lay fiber in the mountains(northwest Montana), even then i wasnt out just very slow.

Even before 9/11 though the government could start spy and not get a warrant for 72 hours, this allowed them to use information as they got it but had to get the warrant before acting, at least it was some check, what the shrubbery was doing was say that you didn't have to get a warrant ever, cause you know you cant trust those terrorist infiltrated secret federal FISA court judges. so now at least they go back to the way thing were, not to mention that this is only civil liability, i know its still wrong to give them anything, but the real criminals were in the white house, with some sort of protection now the telecoms have to come clean on what they were asked to do. That's the info that's important. Yes the telecoms who when along should be punished but this doesn't absolve them criminally just civilly, i know still not right, but we have to begin to clean up these messes somewhere and it cant be done in an instant.
