What would happen to the UNIX licensing now?

Endgame For SCO

SCO is (was?) the license authority for the UNIX(TM) source license. If you wanted a source license, you bought it from SCO. SCO also made the source license for 'ancient UNIX source', up to UNIX V7 and including V32 and BSD, freely available (free as in beer, not speech.. It's still a 'real' license with restrictions).
Yup.. AFAIK he (George L.) has always maintained in the press that there will only be a DVD release (or any release for that matter) of parts 1, 2 and 3 after the completion of part 3.
So 2006 sounds like a reasonable estimate. May even be 2010:-)
Vmware is absolutely brilliant for this sort of thing. I usually run Linux all the time on my work machine too, but some people just have to send stuff like VISIO files.
Solution: start VMware with NT4 inside. View/print/convert item. Save back to Linux.. Shut down VMware/NT. Done.

No reboots required.
Heaven.. Sigh..
Bye, Arno.
Everybody runs away screaming and doesn't bother me anymore. Can't hear the phone(s) anymore. Peace and quiet (well sorta..)
