    How do you choose a distribution when you have software or drivers that is only supported on certain distributions? Like that driver runs only on that version of the kernel an this software is only supported on that distribution. With some software you're not free to choose (yes the software is not gpl). But if you're dependent on such software - the one distribution dream keeps being a dream...

    I read this quote the first time about three years ago in a Slashdot Comment on a article where Microsoft was laughing at Linux. It's pretty clear now that Microsoft isn't in the laughing stage anymore - they take Linux very seriously now. I think the fight just started and it's still a very long road until we get to the last stage.

    What I'm wondering about the NSA is why didn't they found out about Robert Philip Hanssen earlier? I mean such a top-notch agent should have been under a special surveillance? It looks like they are more interested in John Doe... than in National Security.
