The jury is still out on this one. I opted in a free report by Bob Allan (sp?), the real estate guru, and I got a slew of unwanted email by dozens of different companies from all over the US over the next few weeks. I opted out every single one of them, and still more are coming. The spam volume is decreasing thankfully. They look semi-compliant with the CAN-SPAM. I suspect I would get more spam if I didn't opt out. So these guys are just overzealous marketers, and not blatantly brute force spammers... oh well.

What else could needles do other than shift energy? The surgeon's knife only shifts the mass. Mass=energy, by Einstein. Capish?

That totally depends on how well they manage their risks. They can lose their shirt too.

That is because these people are mismanaging their risks. If you are unwilling to start your own business, you are at risk of somebody cutting your paycheck off on a moment's notice. Your choice.
>People don't become wealthy by taking risks. >They become wealthy by figuring out ways to make >lesser folks assume those risks instead.
And who exactly are the "lesser folks"? Persons unwilling to start their own business? Unwilling to take THAT risk? Oops... maybe then they are not taking the smart risks! But the silly ones!
I guess you'll just have to stay in your job and continue complaining.....
Let me second guess this! I am convinced there will always be distributions that put terms like
USEFUL, BACKWARD COMPATIBLE, etc ahead of "STANDARDS COMPLIANT".
Does anyone have an opinion about
how Metricom's Ricochet stacks up
with Qualcomm? Especially in terms
of coverage schedules for Qualcomm
versus Metricom. The latter is
supposed to have 100 million of
US population covered sometime
next year with G3. How about
Qualcomm?
This is exactly how far I got with this graphics card too. Nobitblt option with SiS 6326 makes my Linux XFree86 run _a lot_ slower than the Windows 98 on the same computer. If somebody manages to get the Sis6326 perform well under 3.3.6, please post here, otherwise I'll do it. I'd rather be on the leading edge than on the bleading edge. Thanks.
Agreed with ickleberry
The original post can do with his Democracies whatever he wants as long as he leaves my Republic alone.
Democracy = Rule of the majority over the minority
Republic = You're free as long as you don't affect my freedom.

Actually, US Fiscal policy is like a narcotic -- saving problems by printing money.
Ron Paul is against such nonsense and for a sensible and responsible fiscal policy.
The only reality you will face if Ron does not get elected is more of the same,
and the bigger and bigger government limiting your freedoms even more.
Risk THIS!
