    mac users tend to do work on their boxes and not spend time worrying about themes and stuff y'see...

    it seems strange to me that you base your choice of computer/OS on how well you can customise the interface...

    most jet fighters can reach around mach 2.2 - i think much faster and you have problems with heat and u have to use stuff like titanium. though few jets actually go at this speed, once they are actually loaded with missiles and stuff (i.e. can do something useful) then speed is less. mach number varies with altitude anyway

    mac users either use the apple menu all the time or hardly ever in my experience. i am the the latter group =P

    same with the control strip, whats so great about that anyway that the dock doesn't replace already (and with the CD audio dockette) it replaces even more. but once again... it depends what u used...

    celerons are crap, last year i bought my wife one at the same time i bought a new iMac, they cost the same (and the PC has lots more MHz so gee it should be faster!!) but hell the PeeCee is soooo slow, its the fastest PC we ever had but compared to a G3... and this is the slowest available Mac btw. the iMac monitor is better than the crap one that came with the PC too.

    basically iMacs rule

    they not pushing it out the door early, the OS is done, whats late is stuff like the DVD player s/w. which sounds like an app to me. its like saying Microsoft release Windows X early because Office Y is not ready.

    no doubt some ppl will flame you but in the commercial world stupid clients and managers insist on bad things like pixel widths for pages and all that bollocks.

    but as for your comments, do you wanna use the cutting edge stuff because its there or because its the best way for your page. in most cases all that whiz bang shit is not needed.
