OSX does *not* require 128MB, i got 98MB on my iBook and it runs adequately, Classic is slow to startup but other than that its fine. 128MB is a lot better though. its beta code so i guess it'll be cleaned up
naa most wars are about money or power. religion used to be the cover story is all. even stuff like the crucades was more about power and the pope giving bored warlords something to do instead of fight each other.
yes it is airport ready i think, it tells you how to install it in the manual anyway (i'm using my new indigo baby now)

englebart has the respect of his peers and is famous to geeks, gates has an image of a overrich nerd who's company is an evil monopoly and is infamous to geeks.
on ecommerce websites i have built in the past i have always made sure the CC was not stored anywhere on the server (except for the few moment the transaction was taking place). gee what a nightmare if someone should break in and grab the numbers! the bad PR could kill a small company if a hack did take place.
if x86 ran even more of the market than it does now would there have still been the same competitive pressures that forced Intel to go for broke in increasing performance?
They shouldn't do CKJ domain names, they should just define a standard translation, which can then be incorporated into client software and possibly into DNS systems. What's next, I'll be unable to get to a site unless I also choose the correct encoding? Let's see, was that "cool-shit.org in 8859-1, or coolshit.org in japanese encoding, or maybe cool-shit.net eastern european encoding. Or was it coolsh't.org?
er i don't think they'll be writing the domains in english using CJK encoding, they'll be writing the domains in CJK languages
as the population on the net who can't speak english well or at all increases (and it is) we need stuff like i18n domains . just because u can't see a need for it doesn't mean there is no need for it. actually there is a great need for it. or does "globally accessible" mean written in english?

Kylix sounds like Kylie Minogue's ancient gaulish ancestors. discuss.

what if u don't actually like indie music? i do but whiney feedback drenched white boy guitar pop isn't to everyone's taste for some reason
not totally irrelevant if you are paying the electricity bill

i think it worked out ok
i don't like the green one much either. tangerine was good, i'm using one of 'em right now

does this include versions of games developed for platforms that never had the "original" such as an(for example) asteroids clone for OS/2?
opps that bomb that fell off the passing B-1 really did make a mess of sealand didn't it?

a true stereotype judging from some of the posters here however
Mac OS 9 does this already, CJK (and other languages - indian ones and some others) are an optional install
ni shi bu shi troll?
the vast majority of the people on the net don't bother or could care less about pr0n or MP3s, surprising as that may sound
exactly, for example chinese.com... if written in chinese it could be 2 characters
