I think you forget, the only reason the Economy is doing as good as it is!! When PreziDum Billy Bob received the country 8 years ago, the economy was in an upturn from the good that had been done by the previous 12 years of Republican rule. The only thing that Bill Bob had to do was not Fewk it up!! It would appear that after 8 years of Billy Bob at the helm, he chose to do what was best for everyone, that being to not intitute policies that would adversely affect the economy and let it grow on its own.
What I wanna know is how can a man with a brain vote to increase goverment, and raise taxes??

If I was writing music for the masses, I would do just that. If it became a commodity, that would be sweet. That would mean I was popular. I could make a ton of money from playing live and selling my "junk" to my fans. And people that really wanted to Get my songs could pay me directly instead of going through this idiotic middleman system we have now. Were an artisit gets a miniscule amount of what the actual product costs.
The real victems here are the artist, but the perpitrator is not the consumer, but the Record Industry, and it's death grip on all things loaud and musical.

Why do people always do this. Everyone just wants to read the word, perform the link from screen to mind. People almost never read the verbage and think about what the author is trying to say. There is a deeper meaning to what Jon was saying, a grander sceem, a bigger picture, a truer reality. No one should just read something and say wait he's off base here. You should comtimplate the issues that are raised. Think about what is being suggested. You might see that there is more than the surface that you just skimmed, when you read through the material the first time. I don't want to seem totally against your right to express yourself, but does it make since. I know I almost never do.

Questions we should all ask before we "shoot the messenger"! Was the tool responsible for the volume of data or access to the boxes? Did the tool generate this output? Or did it just allow the abuser to gain access to boxes with high bandwidth? Remeber that the main reason DoS attacks work is because they involve a large amount of "traffic" moving from somewhere to a common point of attack. This in mind, should we say that it was Mixters "tool" or the avaialbe bandwidth to blame??? Maybe we should just close down all high bandwidth access to everyone and only allow the use 56k modems! That would make us all equal. Then I wouldn't be so mad at my Telco and Cable company for not providing me access to a larger pipe than my current 56k *cough**Bullshit**cough* connection.
