Try to exercise when you can.
When I'm at work, I try to eat my lunch at my computer and then for lunch I walk for an hour (usually while listening to language lessons or music).
Immediately when I get home (after work or class) I pop in an exercise DVD. I strip down to my underwear and pop in aerobics (Power 90, Tony Horton) or Pilates (Anna Caban). After I do those I do pushups and pullups (with a bar in my doorway). On average it's about 30 minutes. Not much time at all. As a result, I'm pretty fit for a dude who spends a lot of time sitting in a cubicle or at a desk in school.
The benefits of working out at home is that it saves a buttload of time, as opposed to going to the gym. You don't have to transport yourself, change, or think about transporting/changing yourself. You exercise, and you're done and on to the next thing. Simple.
