This would be big for them, It would make them more popular, since every body is looking for something free. Its a no brainer really. Free games = more traffic which in turns = more advertising dollars:)
Every thing has loop hole's now a days...I don't think there is a product out there that hasn't been copied.whether its a game or something as simple as toothpaste...
In my opinion copyright laws only protect for the time it takes for someone to bootleg your product.
